Annual Awards & Celebration Evening 2025 Cancellation
We regret to inform you that the MMAC Awards & Celebration Evening scheduled for 17/10/25 has been ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ.
This has been an extremely difficult decision to make and we understand that this is disappointing news and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience.
Unfortunately there has been an unexpectedly low interest in the event and only a very small amount of tickets have been sold to date. With the time and practicalities involved in organising such an event together with the associated costs, the decision has been made that given the circumstances, it is no longer sensible to host an event on this occasion.

We are exploring options for rescheduling a similar event next year and will provide an update when appropriate.
For any questions or concerns, please contact the Club at [email protected]
This has been a difficult decision to make and we appreciate your understanding and support.

Everyone who trains with Middlesbrough Mandale Athletics Club is required to sign up to our membership, and to also be affiliated with England Athletics.
New members will be sent a "membership information capture form". Once completed, you will be sent a link in order to pay your annual membership fee (the renewal date is 1st April each year).
When you make the payment via the link, your membership fee will automatically split between the the Club and England Athletics. Your athlete affiliation with England Athletics will also be immediately processed. England Athletics then issues a Unique Registation Number (URN) via email, which will stay with the athlete for life. This URN is required to enter many events.
If you would like to become a member of Middlesbrough Mandale Athletics Club, please send and email requesting a "membership information capture form" to:
Our training sessions mainly take place at Middlesbrough Sports Village, where we have the use of the indoor and outdoor track.
Most training sessions run on Monday to Friday evenings (although some groups also train on a weekend), with the first sessions starting at 17.30 for the U11's.
U11's groups are available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (1 hour sessions).
Most coaches of athletes aged 11 and over expect their athletes to attend training at least twice a week. They are also expected to compete for the club at local competitions.
Suitable running attire and footwear is recommended for training. Club kit can be purchased from the club for use at athletics events, but is not required for training sessions.
A water bottle is essential. Bring a warm coat to wear during rest periods.
Parents/family members are welcome to watch from the stands. There are also toilets/changing rooms, a café (subject to opening hours) and vending machines within the Sports Village.
Athletics coaches: Cyril Banks, Dave Welford, David Howells, Brian Walsh, Martin Peevor, Scott Hydon, Mike Kaiser, Lucy Gowland

MMAC encourages and prepares our athletes to participate in athletics events and competitions, some of which include NEYDL, NECAA, YDL, Senior League, NYSD, NEMAA, England Schools Athletics, Park Runs, Charles Stuart Open Graded Meeting, and more.
Athletes need to be affiliated with England Athletics to enter many (but not all) events. Affiliation is via the membership process, as outlined above. To participate in events, you will need to wear a Club vest or crop top. These can be ordered direct from our supplier, Macron, along with many other additional pieces of club kit (please note, you pay Macron directly and they will fulfil your order).
Place your kit order via the button below.
